National Locum Solutions is the Locum Tenens division of American Healthcare Recruiting (AHCR). Locum tenens is temporary employment for physicians, doctors, and other medical professionals. We understand that locums can be challenging and sometimes disruptive to the harmony of your team. At AHCR, we are there every step of the way to help prepare and equip your team to deal with the complexities of locum tenens.
AHCR is the founder of the National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiting (NCHCR). AHCR is insured by Admiral Insurance, an “A” rated malpractice insurance provider. Our policy is a $1,000,000/$3,000,000 claims made policy. In addition, AHCR is funded by Advance Payroll services, and payday is every Friday. All physicians and mid-level providers are 1099 independent contractors, and pay rates and bill rates are based on the national median rates published by the MGMA. In most cases, travel, lodging, rental car or mileage, and daily meals allowances are provided.
The founder of AHCR, Bill Frey, has been working in the locum tenens arena since 1998, and is an experienced professional in the field.
In 2007, Donald Evans was recruited and made Director of Recruiting. He too has years of experience in locum tenens placement.
